Year 7 Science Club (lead picture and below) enjoyed ther final workshop of this half term today learning all about DNA extraction techniques.
Also today, Year 12 are visiting Lancaster University for a day's higher education experience; and at break today, Mrs Kelly organised a Macmillan Coffee Morning for staff, great to see so many in our school comminity donate and cakes and bakes in support of this fantastic cause:
Tomorrow, our anti-racism ambassadors (pictured below with Mr Kennedy-Fowler) will be selling raffle tickets for a fantastic prize hamper in aid of charity Show Racism the Red card, and on Wednesday they will be holding a bake sale.
ISOC have alos organised a cultural food fest for tomorrow in aid of Islamic Relief, and on Wednesday our Senior Prefect Team are asking all in our school community to donate £1 in aid of Breast Cancer Research.
We are incredibly of how hard our students work to contribute and support our local and wider community and society, and look forward to the many who we know will turn out to show their support.
