Casual Part Time Tutor of English

Urmston Grammar requires as soon as possible a well-qualified Part-time Tutor of English for lunchtime and after school intervention classes and 1 to 1 virtual tuition in GCSE English Language and Literature.

Description

To help all our students fulfil their potential in GCSE English Language and Literature, we seek well-qualified tutors to work with very small groups of students who will benefit from intervention. Initially you will be working with Year 11 students only however it is expected that students from other years will be put forward for these intervention classes at a later date. It is anticipated that the role will involve 2 to 3 hours tuition per week in the first instance.

Rate of pay dependent on Qualifications

  • £20 per hour – Undergraduate/post A level
  • £25 per hour – Graduate
  • £30 per hour – Qualified Teacher

Midday Assistant

5 hours 50 minutes per week:  1.00 – 2.10 p.m. Monday - Friday (term time only) + Free lunch to be taken either before or after lunchtime.

Annual Salary: £17,842 pro rata. Actual Salary: £2,679.81 (including school holidays)
