a new maths mystery launches as we celebrate april's champions

And students don't have to be in a galaxy far, far away to take part!

The Maths department is excited to launch their newly themed Maths mystery board for May to challenge our keen KS3 mathematicians.

And fittingly, as we approach May 4th, and the 25th Anniversary of the release of the movie The Phantom Menace, the theme is inspired by ... yes you guessed it ... Star Wars.

It's not necessary for students to be Jedi Masters to compete, just keen to flex their numerical prowess, and to submit their entries and their completed puzzles to the department in order to earn house-points, and a place on the coveted wall of fame.

And huge congratulations to the students who were the champions of the Easter-themed April Maths Mystery challenge.
