valuable lunchtime drop-in session for our students ends another busy week

Delighted to welcome Trafford School Nursing Team today!

During lunch break today, our students benefitted from the provision of a drop-in session facilitated by representatives from Trafford School Nursing Team (pictured above), that offered invaluable health and well-being information and advice to our students.

With huge thanks to the School Nurses for dedicating their time to visit UGS.

In addition to the events and trips already documented this week, the following has taken place in school:

The third session of Supercurricular Research Presentations by our Year 12 students with fields covered as follows:

Tinuola: History of Greek Medicine

Sylvie & Molly: Portrayal of the wealth and power of monarchs in their portraits and in the media.

Max Hughes: Why carbon deserves its own branch of Chemistry.

Mo'Min: Medical Advancement: where is it heading?

Fineness & Leya: Dentistry

Launch of Sixth Form Senior Prefect Elections

Maths Challenge

Year 7 Parents and Carers Evening

Start of external exam season with Art & MFL speaking exams

And we are delighted that a significant number of our students have put themselves forward for Performing Arts LAMDA exams.

Well done all, and we wish them the very best of luck!
