house celebration assembly

Glorious finale to an eventful and high-achieving term!

We ended the term in fitting celebratory style today with a fantastic House Assembly, celebrating all the great achievements of our students, and the many House events and initiatives that all of the year groups have, as ever, enthusiastically participated in; and in so doing have been awarded a phenomenal amount of house-points, helping to propel their respective houses up the Leaderboard.

As we finish for the break, ORME house reigns triumphant on the leaderboard, but it's a close run thing, with everything to play for; can they retain their top-ranking next term? Watch this space!

A special and well-deserved huge shout-out to the three students in our lead photograph, who, in a truly awe-inspiring achievement, have been awarded over 100 house-points each so far this year: Asfer 7R, Kelvin 7S and Jonah 9U.

They are pictured with House Leaders Mrs Chadwick and Miss Cookson: well done, we could not be more proud!

And there was a special thanks to Miss Cookson for her work as Mersey House leader: from next term she will pass the baton to Miss Devenny Lees, for whom there was a warm House welcome.

We have covered all of the amazing events that have taken place this term and provide weekly updates on our highest house-point winners, but it's lovely to have a celebratory recap, as we did in Assembly, on all of the initiatives and competitions that our students have been involved in:

With huge thanks to our House Leaders, and to our wonderful Senior House prefects, who sadly are coming to the end of their tenure as they approach the start of the A Level external exam season.

And thanks, of course, to our fabulous students for their ongoing hard work, achievements, and epic levels of participation in all things House, and school-community related.

Have a wonderful Easter, and we cannot wait for all that is to come next term!
