happy pi day!

House Challenge from our Maths Department to celebrate Pi Day

In celebration of Pi Day today, in addition to the arithmetical baking competition already set, our Maths department are challenging students to:

Get involved with all things Pi!

The challenge involves taking part in a Pi-themed treasure hunt around school, either individually or in a small group, to find the classroom doors with the digits of Pi, and to put them in order, with the advice that:

"The first 10 digits of Pi include duplicate numbers – including duplicate number 1s, two number 4s, two number 5s, and these are all on separate doors".

The fastest entries will win a prize and all participants will be awarded house-points for participating.

We look forward to seeing lots of our students taking part and flexing their numerical skills.

Good luck all and enjoy!
