year 10 pse ambassadors lead & impress this morning

Year 10 PSE ambassadors do an amazing job this morning & more in school this week

Today during PSE it was fantastic to see our amazing team of Year 10 PSE ambassadors in action, leading the PSE lessons for each of the Year 7 forms on the topic of `What is your Identity`.

In our lead montage and below are just some of the Year 10 team in action, and delivering a PSE class to each of the Year 7 forms.

Max and Zach with 7R:

Evangeline and Mia kick starting the class with 7M:

Eliza and Ritta leading with 7U:

And Neve and Evie engaging with 7T:

Unfortunately, there was no time left to drop in on our other two ambassadors, Chris and Gui, who worked with 7S this morning, but who we hear were just as awesome!

Really well done all! The level of engagement from the Year 7 students was clear to see, and the ambassadors all did us proud with their mature, intelligent and professional delivery of the session.

And 7U Form Tutor Mrs Feenan speaks for us all in her feedback in saying that all were “brilliant” today!

Another great example of our students demonstrating Pride, Participation and Empathy, and working together to progress and develop as individuals, and as a school community.

With thanks to our amazing Year 10 Ambassadors, and to Lead of Student Development Miss Murray  for organising this opportunity for them.

Also taking place in school this week:

Year 10

As part of the GCSE Religious Studies course, the department organised a visit to school and Q&A session from a Prison Chaplain, who explained his role and responsibilities in prison to all Year 10 students. The talk was an extension of the popular Crime and Punishment unit, with a specific focus on the effectiveness of the prison system.

RS teacher Mr Uthman reports that all students were engaged in the talk, and asked several interesting questions regarding the rehabilitation process for inmates.
