charity dodgeball champions!

Orange Team win the Final Showdown in fund-raising event

At lunchtime today, it was the final showdown between teams in the charity dodgeball tournament organised by Year 12 Fineness (pictured above & below R with the winning team), in aid of the great work carried out by the charity SOS.

After matches last week spanning two days, tension was high in the Sports Hall as the teams faced each other down, under the watchful eye of referee Mrs Evans, and the staff and student spectators, who braved the flying missiles to get close to the action:

It was a hard fought battle, but there could ultimately be only one winning team: really well done guys!

All in all, another epic display of Pride, Participation, and Empathy from our wonderful school community.

With huge, huge thanks to Year 12 Fineness for organising this great event for a worthy cause, to all the Sixth formers who took part, to all our students and staff who supported the event, and to Mrs Evans for her ace refereeing skills!
