mustard tree gift appeal today

Our students do us proud again as they get behind this fantastic cause

It has been fantastic this morning to see students from all year groups (and staff) bring in donations of provisions and warm clothing in response to the Mustard Tree Gift appeal.

Mustard Tree carries out invaluable work supporting impoverished children and families in Greater Manchester, and our school community stepped up in support. Pictured above are the donations as form time ended, and below are just some of our students dropping off goods:

Mustard Tree also requests donations of gifts that families can then share with their children, and it was heart-warming to see the vast amount of selection boxes, toys, games and cuddlies that our students brought in, including this charming chap who we're sure will be greatly loved in his new home:

With huge thanks to all the students, parents and carers for their contributions to this great charity, and to the staff led by Miss Salisbury and Mrs Rogers who co-ordinated the appeal.

We are proud of you all and the UGS whole school spirit of Pride, Participation and Empathy.
