deloitte careers talk this lunchtime

Delighted to welcome back alumnus Alex to inspire our current KS5 students

As part of our ongoing Careers provision, we were thrilled today to welcome back former UGS student Alex, who, after completing A Levels with us in 2016, went on to study Economics at Lancaster, and now works for award-winning employer Deloitte, one of the `Big Four`professional service firms.

Students from years 12 and 13 who are interested in pursuing careers in fields ranging from Business and Finance to Technology and the Cyber industry, and those who are thinking of working in related sectors such as Tax and Consultancy, were invited to attend the presentation and Q&A during lunchtime in our Auditorium.

It presented our students with another great opportunity to hear from a working professional about pathways to careers in these sectors, and today specifically about the many excellent Early Careers opportunities available at Deloitte, including their Bright Start Degree Level Apprenticeship scheme, an excellent opening for Year 13 students, and their Career Shapers work-insights programme, which is a great opportunity for those in Year 12.

With huge thanks to Alex for giving his time to inspire our students, and to Mrs Kinder for arranging the event.
