food fest charity event next week at ugs

Sixth Form organise Food Fest to raise money for Doctors Beyond Borders

Our charitable Sixth Formers are again working hard to support a great cause and think of others, and, headed up by Year 12 Adam, are organising Food Fest for Tuesday of next week (28th November).

They are inviting all students and staff to come along to the Main Hall at lunchtime to sample and enjoy a range of culturally diverse food and drink, to visit the Tombola, the Henna stall, the "guess the weight" game, and so much more, in order to raise money for the vital humanitarian support work of Doctors Beyond Borders.

Full details of how students can get involved to support the event by donating food to be sold, and by taking part on the day, have been circulated.

We will also be accepting money donations that can be made by QR code, bank card or cash.

And we know that all in our school community will do us proud by getting behind this fantastic cause in any way that they can!

We look forward to the event on Tuesday, with huge thanks to Adam and our Sixth Form for organising!
