mimi's netball success

We're delighted to share some great news about Year 8 Mimi, who, in a fantastic achievement, has been selected for the U13 Greater Manchester County Netball Squad.

Mimi has been a keen netball player since Year 3, starting with High 5's Netball, before joining Trafford Netball Club in Year 4, who she has continued to play for and train with, while competing with them in weekly matches in the Bury League. Mimi mainly plays in Goal Attack, but being adaptable can play in any position required by the team in any given match! Her County training starts next week, and she will compete in the GM County League at monthly matches.

Mimi had an amazing 2022/23 season and successfully trialled/played for the U12 Manchester Thunder Pathway; and this season she has made it through to the Final trial that will take place at the end of October. 

We wish Mimi the very best of luck with this, and in this weekend's matches: a Trafford Cup game against Altrincham and a League game against Bramhall.
