UG athletes triumph in Trafford competition at Longford Park Stadium!
On Tuesday UG athletes from across KS3 and KS4 competed in the Trafford Athletics competition at Longford Park Stadium, supported by Head of PE Mr Bradshaw, and we are thrilled to report that they triumphed in a huge number of events against schools from across the area.

Diego 10U who won the 100m
Ben 8T who was 2nd in the 1500m
Joseph 9R who came 2nd in the 200m
Aaron 9M who came 2nd in Long Jump
Jack 9U who came 3rd in the 200m
Other UG athletes who also enjoyed success are:
Joe 10M who won the 800m
Emeka 8S who came 2nd in the 200m (and the team won their 4 x 100m heat)
Ben 10M who came 2nd in the 1500m
In a separate event Year 12 Annabel, who competes with Salford Synchronised Swimming team, also had much to celebrate this week as her team finished first placed in their category at the weekend!
