Nobody Parties Like Our Sixth Form

Santa and his sixth form helpers

Thank you from Delamere

This December our sixth-formers did a fantastic job in hosting two Christmas parties, one for members of Delamere Special School, the other for local senior citizens.  And this was made possible with the generous donations that came in following Mr. Dickson’s Wirral Way Challenge. Over £800 was raised in order to fund these parties!

Students got to know the Delamere pupils by joining in outdoor activities with them on the two Wednesdays ahead of the party.  They then welcomed them with Christmas music, pass the parcel and a host of other fun activities, led by entertainers Baz and Tom.  The Delamere pupils even got a visit from Santa and a gift to take home too.

The following week, senior citizens were treated to a feast of fun and food, boogying and Bingo, although – in fairness – it was the sixth formers who boogied along to the merry tunes of Baz and Paul.  Our guests also had crackers to pull and presents to unwrap.  We wish a merry Christmas to them all!
