Munich 2026

Brilliant trip to Germany for our Year 10 students!
A group of our Year 10 MFL students flew to Munich on Monday and, following a fun coach transfer to the hotel:

They enjoyed a fantastic trip on the U-Bahn:

Followed by some delicious traditional German food in the evening!

On Tuesday, they spent a magical morning visiting the beautiful Neuschwanstein castle (lead picture and below):

They enjoyed beautiful weather:

Not to mention stunning scenery:

On Wednesday, they spent a thought-provoking morning at Dachau, where their tour guides provided an opportunity to learn about and reflect upon the past.

This was followed by a quiet afternoon and opportunity to visit a German supermarket. In the evening, they enjoyed dining al fresco in a classic German setting: a Biergarten.

There was a lovely atmosphere, with huge congratulations to Will who won the Munich 2026 Apfelstrudel eating competition!

Today, they've spent this afternoon exploring the beautiful city centre and enjoying some free time. Then, after a walk taking in historical sites & statues, they spent a few hours in Munich's largest park: Englischer Garten.

And this morning they visited BMW Welt!

It's been a really fantastic end to a fabulous trip, and we wish them all a safe flight back!
