celebrating success

Huge congratulations to our accomplished students!

We're delighted to start the week by sharing some amazing news about the recent success of some of our talented students.

Accomplished cyclist Joe 10U (lead picture) recently competed in the Isle of Man Youth Tour 2026, a national event that sees hugely talented youth cyclists from all over the UK compete against the best of their peers.

In a huge step-up this year, Joe is now in the U16s category, meaning that, at aged only 14, he is competing against older riders. The highlight of the event was finishing 27/52 in the road stage, a fast-paced circuit that averages 27mph over the 1hr 20m race!

Joe demonstrates a consistently mature and positive approach to competing and the ability to learn from his mistakes as well as celebrate his own wins, of which he should be extremely proud. He is also an excellent role model to the younger members of the club, who are aged 7-14, and Joe is the only A category and eldest racer from the club this year.

All in all, a really great achievement. Well done Joe!

Dancing Success

We'd also like to celebrate the huge success of talented dancer Grace 7S who has enjoyed huge success in 3 recent competitions.

In the North West Qualifier for IDTA sequence, Grace finished 2nd for Modern and 5th for Classical (an amazing achievement as she only started learning these in February!) and will now go on to represent her school in the U12s Classical and Modern in October, well done Grace!

In the Open World Championships, Grace, with dance partner Eilidh, finished second in Ballroom, and, last but not least, in the League of Schools Regional competition, the girls finished first for U12 Ballroom ss (same sex), 2nd for U12 Open Ballroom, 2nd for U12 Latin ss and 2nd for U12 Open Latin.

Truly remarkable results, really well done Grace & Eilidh, and we wish you the very best of luck in your forthcoming competitions!

Performing Arts Success

Huge congratulations also to two of our talented Year 7 Performing Arts students Bella and Phoebe, pictured below, who shone in their dance school's production of "The Addams Family" last weekend.

Well done girls!
