What is the story of your career to date?
I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2015 with a first class degree in Fine Art, But during this I never felt completely satisfied with what I was doing, After graduating I was asked to work on an international arts project in the Netherlands as Marketing and PR officer and it became clear to me that analytics, driving web traffic and gaining new followings through social media was a keen interest of mine on a more commercial level. In January 2016 I decided I missed the U.K. and wanted to start my own business combining my love for marketing and art so I created a contemporary arts gallery (www.thetrophyroom.org) whilst working in a supermarket to fund this. Although I was offered numerous promotions within the supermarket I heard about The Juice Academy through a marketing manager for Liverpool Biennial. As the field of digital marketing is something I never studied and I wanted more professional experience I decided to apply and I was recently hired by Tangerine Comms as a digital marketing apprentice and I LOVE what I do, and I cannot wait to wake up and head to work for the new challenges which I am able to work on each day which keeps me very entertained and satisfied with my new career choice.
