Tabitha Ozard 7T competed at the Lee Valley Synchro Skating Open in London with her team, Whizz Kids, on 6th November. It was the first time the team had skated at this higher level (Junior B) and they achieved a massive score of 71.71 – and won the event!
Whizz Kids train at Altricham ice rink, where Tabs’ mum works. 11-year-old Tabs has been ice-skating since she was 2 years old., and has been a part of the synchronised ice-skating team for 3 years. All those years and all that practice have clearly paid off!
The team is now starting to prepare for the next competition which is the Winter Cup in Belgium. “As you can imagine we are very proud of Tabs and her achievement,” says mother, Sam Ozard.
