BBC School Report is the project managed by the BBC School Report Team which gives 11–18 year old students opportunities to make their own news reports for real life audiences.
In addition to the main BBC School Report Day in March each year, there are BBC School Report Practice Days throughout the year to help students gain hands-on experience before their BIG reporting day in March.
The School Report Newsday is in March and our pupils are constantly looking for new stories to cover, so if you know of anything that you think we should be reporting on please get in touch.
The academic year 2017-2018 is the 5th time that Urmston Grammar's student reporters have been involved in the BBC School Report project.
They made news for real on 15th March 2018, reporting on VAR, the paralympics, Transgender issues and Russia. We are currently editing the video footage and will post this up as soon as possible - watch this space.
