Admissions Information update 30th July 2020 – Covid-19

We realise that the extraordinary circumstances in which we have found ourselves over recent months have been very unsettling for both parents and children.  Please rest assured we will do our very best to keep you informed and would advise you to continue to regularly check our admission pages for any updates.

We would respectfully request that you do not call the school, as we have limited staff available until further notice

Entrance Examination

It is our intention to proceed with the entrance examination in the autumn term and acting upon further guidance from the DfE (please see link below), the entrance examination will now take place on Monday 19th October 2020.  We would encourage both parents and children to continue as best they can with their preparations.

Please view the updated ‘Admissions Timetable’ along with the ‘FAQ’s DfE guidance’ and continue to regularly visit our admission pages for any further updates.

The deadline for applications was midday on Friday 26th June.  Please email to seek further advice if you have missed this deadline.


In-year Assessments

If you have provided your details for an In-Year assessment please wait for us to contact you to confirm when this will take place.

If you are enquiry about an In-Year assessment please read all the information provided under the heading ‘In-Year admissions to year 7-11’

Waiting List

Candidates who achieve a successful from the entrance examination or an In-Year Assessment are entitled to have their names included on the waiting list.

If any places become available following the 1st allocation, candidates on the waiting list will be considered and ranked according to our oversubscription criteria for the available place.

If any places become available for In-year, candidates on the waiting list will be notified of the process by post.
