Jenga King…?

Jenga Fail
Scheduling this year’s Autumn Fair to compete with Manchester United’s clash with last season’s champions Leicester City could have been a potential own goal situation, but the PTA actually scored a great success this last Saturday, with their fantastic team attracting excellent support and achieving their goal of raising revenue for the school in excess of £1700. (And, to be fair, the date for the Autumn Fair was settled well before this season’s fixture list was published).
The usual attractions were there to be enjoyed by all – from sixth from cake stalls, to tombola turns and Jenga challenges, in addition to the outdoor fun of a bouncy slide and castle and the DJ’s excellent playlist, not to mention the barbecue fare and the drinks on offer – and all under the wise, watchful eye of the PTA’s owl mascot.
Thanks to all who contributed – through advance planning, setting up or manning stalls, price-marking products, drawing raffles, or through simply being there, whether parents, pupils, staff or general public. You all contributed to a truly worthwhile day.
