On Thursday 5th November, I travelled to Altrincham Boys Grammar, with seven classmates and a number of other students from across the school, to hear author Charlie Higson speak about the final book in his best-selling Enemy series.
Charlie’s talk was incredibly interesting – he discussed his career and inspiration for the books, as well as providing tips for young writers. He talked about the new ITV show Jekyll and Hyde too, for which he wrote the screenplay. My favourite part was when he explained the most rigorous part of testing his first Enemy book – trying to scare his own kids!
Overall, Charlie’s talk was informative and inspirational; I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity of meeting him.
