Design a Book Themed Christmas Card

This Christmas the Library’s competition was to design a card inspired by a book. While some students opted for traditional classics like Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, our winners opted for more contemporary novels. Both first prize winner Julia Zhou 7T and second placed Evie Fitzsimmons 8S based their designs on Harry Potter. Julia produced an amazing textured design of the young wizard in a suitably festive environment, while Evie’s featured the 3 lead characters exchanging Christmas jokes. Third prize went to Isobel Pettecrew 8S whose colourful design was inspired by her favourite book, Jeanne Ryan’s Nerve. In addition to their prizes, the winners had their designs turned into Christmas cards, with thanks to Mrs Worsley in Reprographics for arranging this.

Well done all!
